RESOLVED: That MSMS seek legislation that would protect physicians from legal liability for the referral of a potentially impaired driver to a responsible governmental agency.RATIONALE: The author withdrew this resolution in order to support Resolution 96-10A which also seeks to address the issue of reporting persons with impairments that may preclude them from driving.
