RESOLVED: That MSMS advocate for the passage of the bipartisan Resident Education Deferred Interest Act, H.R. 1554; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That Michigan Delegation to the American Medical Association (AMA) ask our AMA to strongly advocate for the passage of the bipartisan Resident Education Deferred Interest Act, H.R. 1554 and adoption of an amendment to include conversion of currently unsubsidized Stafford and Graduate Plus loans to interest free status for the duration of undergraduate medical education.
