RESOLVED: That MSMS work with insurance carriers to make the subscriber’s benefit plan and primary care physician more readily identifiable through the design of the insurance card.RATIONALE: The Committee believed the confusion extended beyond Medicaid plans, and had concerns with creating a stigma by identifying plans with color-coded cards. The amended language applies to commercial payers and supports the intent of the resolution.
