RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to discontinue support for its current position on health insurance for all; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to consider a community-centered health care system with managed care and a group practice emphasis as the future health care delivery system for all Americans. REFERENCE COMMITTEE RATIONALE: The Committee does not support AMA discontinuing support of its position of health insurance for all. Additionally, because there is no definition of “community-centered health care system,” the committee could not make a judgment regarding the feasibility of this recommendation.
