RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to work with Congress to formulate and implement stricter U.S. Food and Drug Administration oversight of the marketing of untested combinations of medications, vitamins, minerals or other additives. REFERENCE COMMITTEE RATIONALE: The Committee slightly revised the language in the resolved to replace the word “control” with “oversight” of marketing. In addition, the Committee reworded the resolved to clarify medications, vitamins, minerals or other additives based on testimony
