Substitute Resolution (in lieu of Resolutions 2-06A, 22-06A and 64-06A). RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to continue toplace urgent attention on the production and distribution of the flu vaccine. RATIONALE: Since all three resolutions addressed concerns with flu vaccine supply and distribution, they were been combined into one resolution. The Committee supported the intent and sympathized with the problems physicians experience in ordering and receiving the flu vaccine. The resolution asks the AMA to prioritize its current policy to assist the appropriate government entities in developing a remedy for this ongoing situation.
