RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to support pending bi-partisan federal legislation such as the Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 and/or related bills to improve the Food and Drug Administration’s supervision of the nation’s food supply; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS support, where appropriate, Michigan-based community health initiatives or educational programs that promote public awareness of food safety and the source of food products available to consumers.
