RESOLVED: That the Life Member category of MSMS membership be eliminated, with the Life Members being transferred into the membership category appropriate to their current practice status. RATIONALE: The Committee considered Resolutions 7-11, 8-11, and 40-11 together; however, believed the resolutions warrant more information for consideration to address specific issues about the impact on the county societies, expected loss revenue to MSMS due to a change in membership category, and whether or not prolonging the life membership category would be useful.
