RESOLVED: That MSMS strongly oppose any extension of the EHR donation safe harbor.RATIONALE: The Committee heard limited testimony on this resolution. Given the possible expiration date of the electronic health record donation “safe harbor” on December 31, 2013, and its limited information on the topic, the Committee felt that it would be appropriate for the Board to study the issue and make its recommendation to the 2013 MSMS House of Delegates.
