RESOLVED: That if an osteopathic physician maintains his or her membership in the American Medical Association, that he or she be allowed to maintain membership in MSMS and its component societies at a reduced dues rate.RATIONALE: The Committee wanted the Board to examine ways to broaden membership for osteopathic physicians beyond discounted dues. The Committee felt they needed more information on dues requirements for osteopathic physicians in their state and national associations.
