RESOLVED: That MSMS increase statewide informational efforts to health care professionals, legislators, state department of community health, law enforcement agencies, newspapers and the public regarding unacceptable frequency of violence against pregnant women; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to increase the public awareness about domestic violence against pregnant women as one of the goals of the National Patient Safety Program.
