RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the American Medical Association (AMA) ask our AMA to discourage its representatives to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)from incorporating language in the ACGME Common Program Requirements that would require post graduate programs to assure resident and faculty well-being since programs directors cannot assure the overall well-being of trainees and faculty members.
