Substitute Resolution (in lieu of Resolutions 23-09A, 57-09A and 58-09A) RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to pursue establishment of a code that would allow physicians to seek reimbursement for participating in the prior authorization process with third-party payers and managed care entities.REFERENCE COMMITTEE RATIONALE: The Committee believes the substitute resolution meets the intent expressed in all three resolutions without restricting it to certain types of services.
