RESOLVED: that the MSMS Bylaws be amended as follows:14.10 ORGANIZATION - The Board of Directors is the executive body of the Society. Subject only to the following, it shall determine the times and places of its meetings. At its first meeting immediately following the Annual Session of the House of Delegates, the Board of Directors shall elect Secretary and Treasurer, who shall serve for a term of office of one year or until a successor is elected and takes office. At the same meeting, the Board of Directors shall elect a Chair, a Vice-Chair, a Chair of the Finance Committee, a Chair of the Health Care Delivery Committee, a Chair of the Legislative Policy Committee, and a Chair of the Scientific and Educational Affairs Committee, who shall be duly elected Regional Directors or Designated Directors, each to take office immediately and to serve for a term of one year or until a successor is elected and takes office.
