RESOLVED: That MSMS amend its bylaws to allow the immediate past section representative to the MSMS Board of Directors to be seated as a delegate from his/her county medical society at the Friday session of the House of Delegates and subsequent sessions of the House of Delegates that weekend.RATIONALE: The Committee heard no testimony on this resolution, and felt that the second whereas clause that states section representatives serving as members of the MSMS Board of Directors complete their term of office at the end of the MSMS Board meeting prior to the opening of the MSMS House of Delegates is inaccurate. The section representatives serving as members of the MSMS Board of Directors complete their term when a successor takes office immediately following the conclusion of the House of Delegates on Sunday
