RESOLVED: That MSMS support specialty organizations to continue to encourage non-members to attend their continuing medical education meetings; and be it further RESOLVED: That MSMS ask specialty societies to limit any surcharge to non-membersattending society continuing medical education events to a reasonable and non-exclusionary tuition.RATIONALE: The Committee believed that the intent of the resolution was to avoid the practice of exclusionary measures in continuing medical education. The Committee felt the resolution as amended clarified the intent of the author and avoided specifying a percentage of tuition charged.
