RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to seek alterations of the Medicare rules to allow any service with a time interval, a proportionate grace period to allow for the various fluctuation in individuals’ schedules.RATIONALE: The Committee agreed existing timelines are too restrictive and belived the language should be broadened to other Medicare services with time allowances.
