RESOLVED: That MSMS work with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) to insist on “transparency” of payments made to physician organizations since 2004, to share the “mathematical metrics model” upon which the payments to physician organizations are based, to share HEDIS metrics received from physicians organizations, and to share data demonstrating coordination of care, improvements in clinical outcomes, lowering costs of care and improving quality; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS work with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) to create new models of value-based partnership programs known as Private Practice Incentive Models (PPIM) to include all physicians of all specialties across the state of Michigan irrespective of their participation in a physician organization.
