RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to lobby for a ban on alcohol vaporizers and encourage other states to enact legislation banning alcohol vaporizers.REFERENCE COMMITTEE RATIONALE: The Committee heard testimony that alcohol vaporizers are banned in Michigan, and they heard about the potential addictive threat of this new alcohol delivery system. The Committee agrees that raising visibility of this emerging problem is a positive step.
