Wayne County Physician Kaitlyn D. Dobesh, MD, JD, Elected to Serve as Resident & Fellow Representative on MSMS Board of Directors

Kaitlyn D. Dobesh, MD, JD, a resident at Henry Ford Hospital, was elected to a one-year term to the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) Board of Directors as the Resident & Fellow representative during the 157th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates held in Kalamazoo on April 30th.

Doctor Dobesh received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and is currently a General Surgery resident at Henry Ford Hospital. She is also a member of the Wayne County Medical Society of Southeast Michigan and was one of their delegates to the 2022 House of Delegates.

Doctor Dobesh received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska, graduating with a BS in environmental studies. She also earned her law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.

The Michigan State Medical Society is the statewide professional association operating as the voice of all physicians in Michigan and is affiliated with the American Medical Association. Physician policies on various issues involving public health, health care delivery and medical ethics are set at the annual MSMS House of Delegates meeting.
