Nita Kulkarni, MD, an OB-GYN practicing in Flint, was re-elected to the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) Board of Directors during the 157th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates annual meeting held in Kalamazoo on April 30th.
A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, Doctor Kulkarni serves patients in Flint and from across Genesee County. As a District Director, she will represent physicians from Genesee County. The MSMS Board of Directors sets policies and oversees operations for the medical society headquartered in East Lansing.
The Michigan State Medical Society is the statewide professional association operating as the voice of all physicians in Michigan and is affiliated with the American Medical Association. Physician policies on various issues involving public health, health care delivery and medical ethics are set at the annual MSMS House of Delegates meeting.
