At the request of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS), Gregg McAllister with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will provide an overview of Medicare's new reimbursement structure under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). This new structure, known as the Quality Payment Program (QPP), moves Medicare Part B payments away from traditional fee-for-service reimbursement to payments tied to value-based outcomes.

Mr. McAllister's presentation will help MSMS member physicians and their office staff understand the new payment pathways under the QPP and their impact on practice and revenue. Remember, the time is now to learn about MACRA's Quality Payment Program. The actions taken by physicians this year will determine how their Medicare payments are impacted in 2019.
