MSMS President James D. Grant, MD, spoke this week to the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians (MCEP) board of directors about the 2015 MSMS legislative priorities.

Doctor Grant pointed out the long-standing, close relationship of MSMS and MCEP dating back for decades including the battle for tort reform in the '70s through '90s and right up to the current joint efforts to retain Michigan's nation-leading auto no-fault law.

Other continuing common concerns include GME funding, scope of practice issues, and Medicaid funding, Doctor Grant said.
