The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) established the Quality Payment Program, which works to make Medicare better by keeping patients at the center of healthcare while paying clinicians based on their performance. However, clinicians in small group practices can face unique challenges as they participate in MIPS, when time and resources are scarce. This event will feature a panel of experts who work closely with small practices and are familiar with MIPS who understand what it takes to get started and be successful. This event is designed for newly eligible MIPS clinicians in small practices and those wanting a high level overview of the program.
This event is designed for:
- MIPS-eligible clinicians from solo and small group practices with 15 or fewer clinicians
- Practice managers and other staff from small group practices
- Persons supporting small practices that are preparing for MIPS in 2019
