National Patient Recognition Week, observed annually from February 1-7, promotes the culture of emphasizing patient satisfaction and involvement. Physicians and other health care team members are encouraged to recommit to their stewardship of patient-centered care and the ultimate goal of improving their overall experience.
Throughout National Patient Recognition Week, the Michigan State Medical Society will be highlighting physicians’ commitment to their patients and the importance of the physician-patient relationship. Patients are physicians’ number one priority, and we celebrate and uphold this partnership in health.
