MSMS Foundation Fall Courses Announced

The MSMS Foundation Fall courses are now open for registration. Educational offerings include our free monthly Grand Rounds and Practice Management series, our annual Bioethics Conference, and several opportunities to obtain implicit bias training at the Monday Night Medicine sessions and the Board of Medicine Conferences.  More information can found below and at the MSMS website. 

A Day of Board of Board of Medicine Renewal Requirements – 8:30 am – 4:15 pm

Monday Night Medicine - Implicit Bias Training - 6:30 - 8:00 pm (virtual)

26th Annual Conference on Bioethics – 8:45 am – 4:15 pm

Grand Rounds: 12:00 – 12:45 pm (Virtual)

Practice Management: 1:00 – 2:00 pm (Virtual)


New 2-Hour Monthly Implicit Bias Training Class

The MSMS Foundation partnered with Henry Ford Health System on a new two-part monthly series, titled, “Reducing Unconscious Bias - an Imperative (RUBI): Foundation and Impacts on Patient Care,which includes a one-hour on-demand video followed by a one-hour live webinar.  To meet the implicit bias requirement, physicians will need to complete Part 1 and Part 2 to receive 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. 

Presentations given by:

Marla Rowe Gorosh, MD, FACH, is a Senior Staff Physician and has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Henry Ford Medical Group at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.  She is board certified in Family Medicine. 

Cheryl Larry-Osman Bellamy, DNP, MS, BSFS, RN, CNM, CNS-C, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with 26 plus years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, High Risk Antepartum, Normal Newborn, and Women’s Health.

  • You must register for the Part 1 on-demand webinar and one of the Part 2 live virtual sessions.
  • Once registered you can access both courses by clicking here http://www.msms.org/LMS and login using the same credentials as the MSMS website.
  • The on-demand webinar may be viewed at any time following completion of the pre-test.
  • After participation in the live virtual session, you will have access to the post-test and your CME certificate will be available upon completion.

The live virtual sessions will take place from 12:00 - 1:00 pm ET.  Choose only one of the following dates.
