MSMS is starting a new monthly webinar series, Michigan's Public Health to keep members current on pressing public health issues in Michigan. Our inaugural session will feature the state's Chief Medical Executive, Natasha Bagdasarian, MD, MPH, FIDSA, FACP. Doctor Bagdasarian will share the latest on seasonal flu, avian flu, the measles outbreak, and more, that might be important for physicians to know.
Doctor Bagdasarian is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and she is a fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American College of Physicians. Doctor Bagdasarian is a member of Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Cabinet. She chairs Michigan’s Public Health Advisory Council, Childhood Lead Elimination Commission and Opioid Task Force. She was also a member of Michigan’s Coronavirus Task Force on Racial Disparities.
