The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) offers people the ability to stay updated on COVID-19 and flu vaccine coverage through respective MDHHS dashboards, which are updated weekly. For example, for this 2024-25 flu season, 2,337,362 doses of the influenza vaccine have been administered as of as of December 7, 2024. While this represents 61 percent of the of the season goal of 4 million doses, progress to goal is behind that for this time last season.

Additionally, communicable disease and immunization epidemiologists within the MDHHS have been collaborating on creating a new hub for all things related to seasonal respiratory viruses, which you can find here. Included on the website is a dashboard reporting the previous week’s emergency department visits and hospitalizations.
