Assistance for Families Who Lost Loved Ones to COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought overwhelming grief to many families. FEMA is working to help ease some of the financial stress and burden caused by the virus by providing financial assistance for COVID-19-related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020. There is no deadline to apply. A flyer for promotional uses can be found here.

To apply, residents can call FEMA at 1-844-684-6333 (TTY: 800-462-7585) from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, Monday – Friday or visit FEMA.gov/funeral-assistance. Information is provided in several languages both by telephone and the website.
