Prostate Cancer Survivorship Care Online CME Course

The Michigan Cancer Consortium is hosting an online course on Prostate Cancer Survivorship Care. This CME course is free and participants will receive 1.50 CME credits. Those participating in the study will receive a follow-up electronic questionnaire three months after completing the CME, and a $20 gift certificate to thank them for their time.

This newly developed Prostate Cancer Survivorship Care Online CME Course is available for primary care providers, including primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, residents, and medical students.

This online interactive, evidence-based CME course has been developed by a team of experts in instructional technology, online course development, primary care delivery and prostate cancer survivorship care from both College of Education and School of Medicine at Wayne State University. This project is funded by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation.

The Principal Investigator of this project is Jinping Xu, MD, MS, Associate Professor at Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences. The goal of this online interactive CME course for primary care providers is to deliver the evidence-based practice guidelines aimed at improving prostate cancer survivorship care.
