Physician Executive Development Program |
Fall 2013 Series Eli Broad Management Education Center, Troy Health care delivery reform, scope of practice, prior authorization,
retroactive take-backs, Michigan Department of Community Health budget including Medicaid expansion, and auto no-fault are just a few of the many issues facing physicians today. Physicians have the ability to ensure that medicine’s voice is heard, but in order to influence leaders at all levels, physicians themselves must be leaders. Responding to that need, MSMS developed the Physician Executive Development program to provide a framework for the development of leadership skills, and equip physicians with the knowledge needed to affect change. For optimal outcomes, we encourage physicians to attend every session. By doing so, a plan can be developed and implemented more effectively.
